CTP Showcase—The Arizona Republic

Deer Valley Plant:
Three (3) NELA VCP Vision Punch/Benders connected to three (3) Kodak Trendsetter News CTP devices will handle up to 720 plates per hour. A fully automated NELA plate transport system will sort and stack plates into a 24 position up and down (dual level) stacker (see 3-D layout below.). Plates are scanned via barcode reader and time stamped with the NELA NPS software; feedback to the ProImage front end system is guaranteed. This system will also produce plates for the New York Times, a product printed by the Arizona Republic.

Mesa:
One (1) NELA VCP Vision Punch/Bender will handle up to 320 plates per hour in connection with two (2) Kodak Trendsetter News CTP devices. Plates will automatically sort and stack into a 13 position stacker.
